Summer Internship Application
Summer Missions:
Below is a list of Discipleship House missions for this summer. Please contact Nathan Gilbert or another appropriate leader if you have any questions or are interested in signing up.
June 12-22 Louisiana – We will make our annual trip to Elton, Louisiana to work a sports camp and vacation Bible school alongside Indian Bible Church. This trip does have a slight overlap with the Grace Fellowship High School Camp so a person will unlikely be able to do both the mission trip and the camp. Contact Bo Derks or Nathan Gilbert with questions. Cost is $250 per person.
July 7-13 Wisconsin – We will be making a return trip to Browntown, Wisconsin. We will be working alongside Peace Church in Christ to lead a sports camp and vacation Bible school. We will likely have a few students from Grace Fellowship joining our team. The cost of the trip is $250.
July 20-28 Grenada – We will be returning to Grenada to work a camp and/or VBS in the capital city of St. Georges alongside Grenada 24/7. The cost of this trip may vary but is usually between $1,300 – $1,800 before fundraising.
August 3 Local Sports Camp – We will be working in partnership with Grace Fellowship Church as well as 1-3 other local churches to run 1 day sports / VBS camps in Northern Kentucky. The purpose of this is 1) to engage the local communities for the gospel, 2) to promote the smaller local churches within their communities, and 3) to give opportunities for teens in local churches to serve in their first mission experiences. There is no cost for this day.
